There is very some kind of minor differences which can be only tell by daily user of these laptops. I have tested both laptops and what I personally found out about ASUS laptops is that their Software configuration Sucks!

This is my perosnal opinion as I have seen many asus laptop which suddenly are showing error like “Your PC ran into a Problem” we have to restart it and Which is very irriatating.

Gaming wise Asus Laptops are best and They also Control Heat very well. 

HP Laptops are generally high in price but “they do what they said”. As I am Using HP Victus and I perosnally find that their battery durability is outstanding and If you are workohlic person then this is something which is Designed for You.

Even Price of HP Victus is Little Higher than ASUS A17.

Both Laptops have 144 Hz Refresh Rate with IPS Display and Nvidia 4 GB 1650 GTX Graphic coprocessor.

You have to understand that Refresh Rate and Display Quality matters a lot in Gaming because very game has so many frame to play every second and if you display is not fast enough to execute those frames then “Game will Start legging“.
